The Honeywell MS7120 Orbit barcode reader is black, can be held in the hand or set on a stand, produces laser light in an omnidirectional pattern, and can be used to scan linear, one-dimensional (1D) barcodes at different angles and decode them. The barcode scanner is small enough to be held in the hand. A stand enables the barcode reader to be used in a fixed position. A 650-nanometer (nm), 900 milliwatt (mW) laser produces 20 lines of light in an omnidirectional pattern to scan barcodes at different angles and at a speed of up to 1,120 scans per second.
